Gregory A. Gentile of Counsel

Gregory A. Gentile of Counsel
Biography

Of Counsel

Mr. Gentile graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2008 and has practiced in the area of criminal defense for his entire career. He has worked with the attorneys at Friedman & Nemecek, L.L.C. for several years and currently assists the firm in an Of-Counsel capacity, representing clients in felony and misdemeanor criminal cases throughout the State of Ohio.

Although he has handled a wide range of criminal offenses, Mr. Gentile devotes a significant portion of his practice to defending clients who are charged with traffic-related offenses, including individuals who are cited for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (“OVI”). Mr. Gentile understands the substantial consequences for those charged with OVI and traffic-related offenses, including the loss of driving privileges, negative effects on employment, as well as the possibility of incarceration and the imposition of fines. He devotes ample time and resources to reviewing each case and identifying issues to attack the investigation and evidence produced by the State. He has successfully litigated numerous OVI cases throughout his career, often obtaining a reduction or outright dismissal of the criminal charges.

Mr. Gentile’s professional career has also included involvement in State Bar Associations. He is a life-member of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Alumni Association and has been named a Rising Star by the Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine, which is an honor limited to the top 2.5% of Ohio lawyers under the age of 40. He is a frequent lecturer at legal seminars hosted by local Bar Associations and Universities, including the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, the Parma Bar Association, the University of Akron School of Law, Kent State University and Ursuline College. He also routinely teaches at the court-ordered 3-day Alternative to Jail Program, which is mandated by individuals who are charged with and/or convicted of OVI offenses.
