Client Facing Multiple Felony Counts

Probation

The client was indicted for multiple felony counts for his involvement in the “Street Takeover” which overwhelmed downtown Cleveland on September 28, 2024. Following extensive negotiations with the State of Ohio, Attorney Lucas Trott secured a plea agreement in which the client would plead guilty to only one felony of the fifth degree, representing the most favorable plea deal reached to date among the 18 defendants charged as a result of the takeover. Thereafter, Attorney Lucas Trott successfully argued for a sentence of probation and community service despite the prosecutor’s request for incarceration. Now, the young client will be permitted to remain out of custody and maintain his employment.
