Attorney Ian Friedman is a member of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers (ABCL) and was recently involved in a documentary filmed on the history of the group. The video can be viewed here. This group is a prestigious honorary society whose members include top attorneys in the field of criminal defense. Nationwide, there are only around 200 criminal defense lawyers in the ABCL and membership is invite only. Their mission is "to protect the preservation and exercise of fundamental rights and freedoms for those accused of crimes while promoting excellence in the practice of criminal defense."
