Our team is proud to announce that Attorney Ian N. Friedman has once against been selected for inclusion in the Ohio Super Lawyers list. This inclusion in the 2016 edition marks the eighth consecutive year Attorney Friedman has been recognized by the organization.
Super Lawyers has become one of the most trusted and well-regarded legal directories in the industry. According to their site, its mission is to "create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel." Lawyers in every state—across more than 70 different practice areas—are evaluated by a patented Super Lawyers selection process.
Just a few of the criteria used in the selection process include:
- Bar activity
- Prior industry honors
- Pro bono work
- Community engagement
- Lectures and publications
Ultimately, only 5% of all considered attorneys end up on the Super Lawyers list. These lists are released in Super Lawyers Magazine and other prominent regional publications.
This newest Super Lawyers inclusion is only the latest industry notice for Attorney Friedman. He was named "Lawyer of the Year" by the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and received William K. Thomas Professionalism Award from the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He was also inducted into the American Board of Criminal Lawyers in 2010, a prestigious, invitation-only membership extended to approximately 200 criminal defense attorneys nationwide.
We congratulate Attorney Friedman for yet another notice from Super Lawyers. We know that he will continue to provide the kind of industry-leading legal insight and guidance to not only to his current and future clients, but to our greater Ohio community, as well.
