Founding Partner Ian Friedman, Esq.’s involvement with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) is long steadfast and unwavering.
From establishing the CMBA’s Annual New Lawyer Bootcamp back in 2013, to serving as the Association’s President for a memorable 2019-2020 term, Ian’s dedication to the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association is a consistent professional devotion of which he is the proudest.
In honor of its 150th anniversary celebration, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and its fundraising arm, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation, will honor some of the brightest legal stars in Cleveland with a series of Legacy150 Awards, for which an esteemed selection committee comprised of Bar Foundation and Bar Association Board Members devoted substantial time to thoroughly consider the many nominations they received.
After thoughtful deliberation, the committee selected Ian to be recognized among other exceptional attorneys for their Living Legacy Awards; awards that honor lawyers whose extraordinary leadership, innovation and professional excellence have truly transformed the legal, business and/or civic arena in Greater Cleveland over the course of their careers.
“The committee worked diligently to select honorees who are remarkable attorneys, leaders, and community advocates. Each honoree has made an indelible mark on our Bar Association, the legal profession and the Greater Cleveland community,” said Larry W. Zukerman, 2022-23 Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation President.
Our Founding Partner is honored to be recognized alongside so many other esteemed individuals dedicated to the betterment of this profession.
Ian and the other Legacy150 Award honorees will be recognized before, during and after “the biggest party in Bar history,” Rock the Bar, happening on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This momentous event will feature live music, dancing, fabulous food, open bars, full access to the museum exhibits; a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all of the good in our community.
